Shakespeare in the City Walking Tour for Two

Take a trip back to the bohemian life and times of the great Bard with this fabulous Shakespeare in the City Walking Tour for Two. Follow on the elusive trail off the beaten track and learn the amazing details of the English language’s greatest poet and playwright. Your expert guide for the day has been running the tour for over a decade and was once a Shakespearian actor himself, so you’ll be treated to both scholarly insight and plenty of thespian dramatics.

Along the way you’ll explore a host of locations linked to Shakespeare, from his London homes to the site of the Blackfriars Theatre and the spot where he is rumoured to have penned the plays Othello, King Lear and Macbeth. Your tour will incorporate the Churches known to Shakespeare as well as a hidden monument created from one of his best-known speeches. You’ll learn about the man himself, including his complicated and often entangled personal life. No Shakespeare tour would be complete without some of his immortal words, and rest assured these will be delivered as intended by your guide.

An amazing experience for any lovers of Shakespeare, or indeed anyone looking to get to see London in a new and highly entertaining way.
